[EXCLUSIVE]: Triple H and Shawn Michaels reveal if Adam Cole is heading to Raw or SmackDown

Almost everyone had a thought in our minds after NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, Night two. Once the referee counted three and Kyle O’Reilly was declared the winner, the first thing that went through my mind was: “Adam Cole is main roster bound”. I already pictured him on SmackDown having many dream scenarios. I thought: “Next week, we will see him making his debut on SmackDown because the story is over”.

However, a little part of me thought: “That story is not over. It will never be really over”. Then, standing between two completely different possibilities, I finally understood. It’s not over, until they say it’s over. Well, as part of this quest looking for the alternative to that dilema, I had the opportunity to ask the gentlemen that make those kind of decisions.

Yes, Triple H and Shawn Michaels spoke with me, Michael Morales Torres, and gave a pretty particular answer for this question. Is Adam Cole heading to the main roster now? To that dilema, here’s what Triple H and Shawn Michaels had to say:

Triple H: “I mean, I would advise you to watch NXT on Tuesday. I don’t know if you’ve heard or not, but NXT is moving to Tuesday on USA. It’s a new night. It’ll be spectacular show. I think all things will be revealed then”.

Shawn Michaels: “It’s just a funny thing. You drop a fall around here and… (Laughs)”

Triple H: “One loss and you’re out”. “It’s a funny thing, when you succeed here and you do really well here for a fairly long period of time, there are moments in time where you’re telling me stories and then you know something definitive happens like tonight and people think: ‘That’s the end of it. Certainly that’s the end of the book. That’s the end of the chapter. He has to move on’. That’s got that case at all. You know, if that were the case then, half this roster would be leaving tonight. It’s not the case at all. It’s a chapter in the story. It’s a chapter in The Saga that they’re telling. Kyle O’Reilly proving himself against the man that said he was the leader of the Undisputed Era and was just dragging them all along and we’re just his his lackeys. Proving that he’s not a lackey anymore. So if I’m Adam Cole, I can’t imagine that sits very well with him. So I would imagine that’s not the end of the story”.

Shawn Michaels: “Yeah, this is right. This is taking Kyle O’Reilly to the next level. I think everybody would agree that Adam Cole has simply been in the top level for over a year here now. I think now Kyle O’Reilly has put himself on that same spot that was Adam Cole. I can’t see that stoping now”.

At the end of the day, anything can happen. Nothing is certain, but everything is a possibility. Which makes this story with Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly more interesting. Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow, Saturday April 10th at 8:00pm and Sunday, April 11th at 8:00pm, the biggest event of the year, WrestleMania 37, live on Peacock (United States and Puerto Rico) and the WWE Network (worldwide). Also, make sure to tune in to NXT, this Tuesday at 8:00pm (ET) on USA Network. Thanks to WWE Public Relations team, Daniela, Joel and to the lovely gentlemen that granted me part of their time, Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
